It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cathi McClain of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Doyle McClain; her parents, James Rochelle and Reba Rochelle; her siblings, Ed Rochelle, Wayland Rochelle, Darlene Yopp (Tommy) and Wesley Rochelle (Joyce); and her sister-in-law Julia Rochelle.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Jones; and her stepdaughters, Denise Langlois (Tom) and Darlene Sanderson (Joey). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Monday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers, it would please Cathi to know a memorial in her name was made to the Verona Volunteer Fire Department, 101 Verona Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
