She was predeceased by: her parents, Romana Fernandez and Santos Fernandez Sr.; her siblings, Santos Fernandez Jr., Jose Fernandez, Consuelo F. Trejo, Cesaria Serrata (MGySgt (Ret) and Vasquez Sr.; and her son Esteban "Papi" Vasquez Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Kristina (Quentin Sr.); and her grandchildren, Quentin Jr. and Zelia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Prague Catholic Church (210 Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
