He was predeceased by: his father Gail Thomas Smallwood; and his grandmother Katie Clark. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Clark Smallwood; his children, Curtis Lynn Smallwood, Jr. and Kolton Lynn Smallwood; his siblings, Thomas Smallwood (Jenna), Matthew Smallwood (Yolanda), Donald Smallwood (Juanita) and Michelle Smallwood (Dustin); and his extended family, Goodson and Foy. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Onslow Memorial Park (3280 Richlands Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
