He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dross and Frances Dross. He is survived by: his wife Jean Dross; his children, Tanya Swan (Jeremy) of Prairie City, Iowa. and John Dross of Prairie City, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Alexis Dross, Brooke Dross, Jarrett Swan and Johnathan Swan; his sister Judy Sanders of Richlands; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Bunch (Dave) of Pleasant Hill, Tammie Smith (Jay) of Prairie City, Iowa., Wayne Kinart (Becky) of Prairie City, Iowa. and Raymond Kinart (Barbara) of Prairie City, Iowa.; and his pet Trixie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Onslow Memorial Park (3280 Richlands Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
