He is survived by: his children, Karla Marie Slavin of Clyde, NC, Greg Slavin of Raleigh, NC, Kelly Johnson of Apex, NC and Timothy Slavin of Fort Mill, SC; and his sister Esther Hamlin of Antioch, IL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
