He is survived by: his wife Ellen Vance; his daughter Ashley Whitler (Jonathan) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Jordan Vance (Erin) of Jacksonville, Madison Dixon (Jeremiah), Alyssa Evans, Daniel Evans, Shyanne Vance, Peyton Vance and Trace Granville; his great grandchild Josiah Dixon; and his sisters, Dora Bowers (Ron) and Rosena Patton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
