He was predeceased by: his parents, Peachie Morton and Lee Morton; his siblings, George Morton, Geraldine Morton Parker, Annabelle Morton Meredith, Nan Morton Kellum and Wesley Morton; his son Graham Lee Morton; and his wife Joyce Morton.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Ramsey, Kenneth Morton, Sherry Morton and Tammy Sokoloski. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
