It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Grace Gillette of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Turner and Della Blizzard Turner; her husband John Levy Gillette; her grandson Stacey Reid, Jr.; and her brothers, Clayton, Gene, Cleveland, Gerald, Bobby and Mack Turner.
She is survived by: her son Mark Gillette (Mary H.) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Lacey Cannon (William) and Samuel Moore; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Austin, Kacey, Macey, Stacey, III and Madison; and her siblings, Mavis Mercer of Beulaville and Troy Alex Turner of Pink Hill.
