He was predeceased by: his wife Stephanie "Stevie" Sullivan; his daughter Lori Cone; and his grandson Nicholas Cone. He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Sullivan (Beverly) of Statesville, NC; and his grandson Brandon Cone of Taylorsville, NC.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
