He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sanders and Emma Hines Sanders; and his siblings, Franklin, Shepard, Cooter, Kenneth Sanders, Vera Henderson and Mary Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Parker Sanders; his children, Pamela Sanders Lanier and Gregory Allen Sanders (Debbie); and his grandchildren, April Williams (Jonathan), Mitchell Sanders (Angela), Michael Nowell (April), Amy Nowell (Michael), Kayla Johnson (Tyler) and Dustin Williams.
