He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Annie Best of Jacksonville, Hugh Lena Batts of Jacksonville, Gregory Best (Daisy) of Colorado Springs, CO, Gary Best of Jacksonville and Edith Faye Pope of Rockville, MD; and his siblings, Ralph Best (Lennette) of Mt. Olive, NC, Ernestine Thompson of Washington, D. C. and Joyce Parrish (Romero) of Milford, DE. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
