He was predeceased by: his wives, Carol Diana Cox and Ann Dorothy Cox; his parents, Johnnie Laverne and James Arvin Cox; his sisters, Susan and Mary Yvonne; and his granddaughter Amanda.
He is survived by: his children, James Cox (Jennifer) of Medford and Shelly Ford (Tim) of Maysville, NC; and his siblings, Billy Cox of Bennington, OK, Lucretia Wood (Pat) of Atoka, OK, Martha Kay Wight of Bennington, OK, Sheila Diane Arnett (Jack) of Bennington, OK, Jerry Don Cox (Toni) of Phenix City, AL and Barbara Ann Mozeyko (Mark) of Bennington, OK.
