He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie James and Alma Doris Howard Tyndall; and his brother Louis Howard Tyndall. He is survived by: his wife Carol Strange Tyndall; his son Danny Monroe Tyndall (Edie) of Jacksonville; and his siblings, Dennis Tyndall (Vivian) of Jacksonville, FL and Marilyn Tully (Paul) of Jacksonville.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tar Landing Baptist Church (3884 Richlands Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Onslow Memorial Park (3280 Richlands Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
