Jay Preston Osmond Obituary

Jay Preston Osmond, 91 of Jacksonville passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Jay's funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Interment to follow immediately at Onslow Memorial Park.

Jay honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He would later retire after 46 years in Civil Service at Camp Lejeune. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Effie Osmond and Siblings, Donald Lee, Dorothy, and Barbara Jean Osmond.

Jay is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Barbara Osmond; children, Donald Osmond, Linda Osmond, and Glenn Osmond; grandchildren, Dwayne, Donald Jr. "DJ" , John, Kristen, Brittany, Ashley, Megan, Katherine, and Samuel; great-grandchildren, Brody and Henry; and one remaining sibling, Paul Osmond Jr.
