He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Ann Brewer. He is survived by: his children, Tonya McCauley (Stan) of Jacksonville, Kristin Mack (Don) of Jacksonville and Eric Brewer (Dana) of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Brittany Brewer, Brooke Seybuck (Matthew), Madison McCauley, Trey McCauley, Cade Mack and Blake Brewer; and his great grandchild Reese Bruinton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DAV, 300 Sherwood Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
