He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Sproul Brown. He is survived by: his children, Ivan Brown of Baltimore, MD, Lloyd Brown of Wilmington, NC, Catherine Brown Renchen of Jacksonville, NC, Gary Brown of Atlanta, GA and Patrick Brown of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
