With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Ransom Harrell of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harrell and Maybelle Rochelle Harrell; his sister Jean Carpenter (Tommy); his grandson Patrick Ryan Harrell; and his brother-in-law Ron Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Shepard Harrel; his sons, John Stephen Harrell (Judy) and Paul Russel Harrell (JoAnne); his grandchildren, Jaime, Vicki, Rebecca, Michele, Neddie and Catherine; and his sister Anita Butler. He is also survived by his great grandchildren.
