He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arvie and Catherine Hodges Norris; and his sister Deborah Lynn Norris. He is survived by: his sons, Walter Alan Norris of Dunn and John Anthony Norris, Jr. of Jacksonville; and his grandson John Anthony Norris, III of Dunn.
