He is survived by: his wife Opal Kight; his children, Caroline Kight of Charlotte and Jonathan Kight, II of Raleigh; his mother Judy Kight of Jacksonville; and his siblings, Bryan Kight (Jan) of Jacksonville, John Kight (Ginny) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Beth Scott (Lee) of Charlotte.
