He was predeceased by: his father Felipe Rodriguez; his son Joseph; and his brothers, Manny and Carlos. He is survived by: his children, Crystal (Jeff), Tina, Keta of New Zealand, Steven and Dean; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Tatum, Ryan, Xander, Ashton, Cassandra, Kristina, Justin, Jordan, Ava, Stephanie, Randi, Hailey, Stevie, Freya, Claudia and Alanna. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
