We are sad to announce that, on June 28, 2025, at the age of 68, Joy Cayton Jones of Jacksonville, North Carolina, born in New Bern, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Cayton, and Verne Cayton, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Gene; her daughters, Lori, Caroline and Ariana (Andrew); her grandchildren, Harper, Mattis, Heidi and Mason; her brother Ellis Cayton (Alison); her niece Frances; her nephew Donald Cayton; and her cousin Larry Lomonte.
