It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leander Lewis of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife C. Yvonne Lewis; his children, Leander Lewis, Jr. (Porsche) of Raleigh and Gloria Young of New Orleans, LA; his stepchildren, Tiffany Bryant of Greensboro, Stephen Hamilton (Pam) of High Point, Anthony Hamilton of Magnolia and Derwin Bryant, Jr. of Lanham, MD; and his siblings, Gloria Stiger of Augusta, GA, Jimi Lewis (Cathy) of Jacksonville and Billie Shaw of Jacksonville. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
