She is survived by: her son Reverend Wade Parker (Cherry) of Winterville, NC; her sister Tursee Barnette of Maysville, NC; and her grandchildren, Abigail of Winterville, NC, Samuel of Winterville, NC and Ruth Parker of Winterville, NC. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Blue Creek Baptist Church (1251 Burgaw Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina P.O Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27361.
