She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth W. Simon; her grandson Logan; her grandparents, Gerald and Ruth Holpuch; her uncle Robert Holpuch; her mother-in-law Sonia Mahler; and her aunt Phyllis.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel P. Blackwell (Jaclyn) of Jacksonville, Lindsey Simon of East Chicago, IN and Ashely Simon of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Sierra, Brynn, Dean and MaKenzie; and her brother Daniel K. Blackwell of North Aurora, IL..
