It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Mohn Brown of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald J. Brown; her parents, Willie Owen Mohn and Teddie Padgett Mohn; and her siblings, Diane Shepard, Carol Batchelor, Louise Graves, Billy Mohn and Ronnie Mohn.
She is survived by: her children, David Brown (Cathyof Beaufort), Jeri Yvonne Pendergest of Verona and Phillip Brown (Deborah) of Lexington, NC; her grandchildren, Jamie Brown, Amanda Stuberg, Greg Brown, Emily Baker and Brandon Durbin; and her great grandchildren, Chase Brown, Payton Stuberg, Bella Brown, Joseph, Jacob Brown, Charlie, Everett Baker, Salem and Marcella Stuberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Verona Methodist Church or the Verona Volunteer Fire Department.
