With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lora Brown Pierce of Jacksonville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lora shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lora farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her son Matthew Crim. She is survived by: her husband Cyrus Ray Pierce; her children, Cyrus T. Pierce and Lori Joseph; and her grandchildren, Jamison, Emma Joseph, Padmae and Dechlan Collins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Wednesday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Thursday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Brown Family Cemetery (487 Harris Creek Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
