It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Effie Williams of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Williams; her son John Williams; her parents, Jack Woods and Effie Woods; and her brother Ed Woods (Mary).
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Norris (Toby) of Jacksonville and Gary Williams of Ohio; her grandchildren, Corey Smith (Sarah) of Jacksonville, Brittani Smith of Cary, NC and Onesty Norris; and her siblings, Jack Woods (Illiana), Dan Woods (Bev), Bill Woods and Debbie Hoffer (Dave). She is also survived by four other grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
