With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Patricia (Brown) Wade of Jacksonville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brown and Mary Brown (Gallagher); her husband James Michael Wade; her son James Thomas Wade; and her siblings, Carl Brown, Barbara Badanish, Denis Brown, Timothy Brown and Thomas Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Matlock (Troy) of Jacksonville, NC and Jeffrey Wade (Dawn) of Atoka, TN; her grandchildren, Ashley Gary (Sam), Amber Matlock, April Tuttle (Zach), Stephanie Herr (David) and Jacqueline Wade (Ryan Koerner); her great grandchildren, Murphy Herr and Maren Herr; and her siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Bruce, Bill Brown (Cathy), Jean Odinsoff (Pete) and Jane Griffin (Jon). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
