She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James McClide; her son Leander Lanzo of Pittsboro; her siblings, Harrel Shepard of Jacksonville, Lionel Shepard (Karen) of Raeford and Anniatha McMillian (John) of Lumberton; her sister-in-law Dorothy Loftin Shepard of Richlands; and her close friend Kiss Daniels of Jacksonville.
