He was predeceased by: his wife Michiko T. Dugan; his parents, Alice Dugan and Michael Dugan Sr.; his siblings, James Dugan, Emily "Nancy" Hamchuk, Delores Reilly and Alice Duganl; and his daughter-in-law Valerie Dugan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Dugan III (Linda) of Lindoton, Alice D. Anderson (David) of Jacksonville, Delores Eastwood of Texas, James J. Dugan of Charlotte, Joseph F. Dugan of Jacksonville and Jeffrey J. Dugan of Jacksonville; and his pet Luna. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Prague Catholic Church (210 Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540). The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
