He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah Lanier and Lucy Ann Watkins Lanier. He is survived by: his wife Magline B. Lanier; his children, Mary M. Zimmerman of Jacksonville, Richard O. Lanier (Hilda) of Beulaville and Riley H. Lanier (Brenda) of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, David, R. J., Lisa, Joseph, Crystal, Hiram and Jonah. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harris Creek Holiness Church.
