She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Lanier; and her siblings, Rita and Neil Lanier. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Reid; her mother Elise Lanier of New Bern; her daughters, Laura Reid Cumbo (David) of Jacksonville and Rebecca Reid Hayworth (Erik); and her grandchildren, Riley, Brooks and Ellie.
