Peggy M. Hancock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy M. Hancock of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Victor A. Hancock; her son Victor Allen Hancock Jr. (Donald Hancock); and her siblings, Shirley Green, Joan Mozingo, Elizabeth Mozingo Tyndall, Logan Mozingo, Kenneth Mozingo and Jimmy Mozingo.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Huffman of Jacksonville, Frank Hancock of Jacksonville, Walter Hancock of Richlands and Ronald Hancock of Leland. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4764 Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540 or to the Kennedy Home (Baptist Children's Home), 2557 Cedar Dell Ln, Kinston, NC 28504.
