He is survived by: his former wife Sara Straughan; his siblings, Clifton, Ollie, Louis, Howard, William, Elizabeth Bullington, Hattie Lamb, Betty Cain and Louise Privette; his wife Avaleen Bryan Straughan; his children, J. Rex Straughan (Jeri), Hubert, Alan Lee Straughan and Mary S. Boney; his stepson Alan Bryan (Patti) of Sumter, SC.; his grandsons, Dustin Boney (Charlene) and Jason Straughan; his stepgrandchildren, Mathieu Bryan (Kristel), Scott Boney, Kimberly Hicks, Audra Thrush (Trevor), Spencer Conn and Blake Traylor; and his great grandchildren, Reid Straughan, Cadence Ledet, Juliana Hicks and Devin Lamontagne.
