She is survived by: her parents, Makin Abdulhamid and Debera Edwards Dorsey; her husband Mario Smith; her children, Milan and Kingsley Taylor; her stepchildren, Ja'Maiya, Michelle, Nataliya and Navayah Smith; her grandson Daelyn Ace; her stepparents, Everett Dorsey and Shari Abdulhamid; her parents-in-law, Dawn Smith and Charley Harrison; her grandfather-in-law Maggie Harrison; her siblings, Vincent Gildersleeve, Tyrese Abdulhamid (Kyra), Kinya Melvin (Antonio) and Latisha Dorsey; her siblings-in-law, Charnocus Evans and Yakiema Strong (La'Morra); and her close friends, Keshia and Kayjahna.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Washington Chapel M. B. Church (347 Bell Fork Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
