He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Barry (Hassan) of Marshfield, MA; his parents, Mary Barry (Cotter) and Michael Barry; his daughter Mariann Barry; and his siblings, Elizabeth Barry, Maureen Barry, Robert Barry, John Barry (Jack), Joe Barry and Michael Barry.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Barry (Maureen), Edward Barry (Jamie), Timothy Barry and Kathleen Barry; his grandchildren, Chelsea Frank (Jacob), Sean Barry, Alfred Alvarez Jr., Megan Barry, Brianna Alvarez, Katelenn Jackson, Joshua Alvarez, Alayna Wooster, Edward Barry Jr., Unique Moore, Aidan Barry and Mackenzie Barry; and his siblings, Kathleen Collins (Barry) and Francis Barry.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the MacDonald Funeral Home (1755 Ocean St, Marshfield, MA 02050).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to any Marine or Veteran charitable foundation of your choice.
