He is survived by: his spouse Caroll Long; his children, Tracey Rhodes (Timothy) of Emerald Isle, NC, Marie LeBlanc (Arthur) of Pooler, GA and David Long of Waco, TX; his grandchildren, Daniel LeBlanc of Pooler, GA, Amber Bolton (Ethan) of Gastonia, NC and Heather Carnes (Chris) of Rock Hill, SC; and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Talon and Beckett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
