She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Riggs and Julia Wetherington Riggs; her brother William P. Riggs; her husband Kenneth Archer; and her son Bob Archer.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Caton of Cape Carteret and Bill Archer of Bogue; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Booher, Brandy Reid, Crystal Henson and Christy Goforth. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
