He was predeceased by: his wife Dottie Smith; his parents, Cyrus Daniel Smith and Lillian Allen Smith; his brother Phillip Smith; and his grandson Cyrus Jackson Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bonnie Morton and Ronald Smith (Dorothy); his sons, Lee Smith (Hilary) of Gastonia, NC and Mitch Smith (Kimberly) of Chinquapin, NC; his grandchildren, Leah, Rogan, Lily and Sadie; and his great grandchild Hudson Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church building fund.
