She was predeceased by: her husband James Brown Jr.; her mother Ada Morton; and her siblings, Walter, Grover, Capers, Joy, Mary and Beatrice.
She is survived by: her children, James Earl Brown of Goldsboro, Cleta Crawford (Gary) of Jacksonville Florida, Ricky Brown (Rachel) and Talbert Brown of Arlington Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
