She was predeceased by: her husband Freeman Shaw Hill; her grandson Josh Johnson; and her parents, Woodrow Vause and Lutrecia Vause. She is survived by: her children, Edith "Eve" Johnson of Winston Salem, NC, Kenneth Johnson (Robin) of Jacksonville and Kevin Johnson (Dawn) of Winston Salem, NC; her sisters, Sandra Coker of Cheraw, SC and Zan Spurgeon (Mike) of Hot Springs, VA; and her granddaughter Brittney Johnson. She is also survived by several step children, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.
