He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Starrette and Wanda Kilby Starrette. He is survived by: his sister Marcia Young; his sons, James and Michael; and his grandson Noah. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be dedicated to Disabled American Veterans.
