It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Duckworth of Jacksonville, North Carolina, born in Johnson City, New York, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Floyd Warner II and Eleanor Pearl Warner (Ross); and her brothers, Anthony L. Warner and Peter P. Warner. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Carl Duckworth; her children, Carla Marie King (David Allen King), Michael Barry Duckworth and Afton Nicole Shaver (David Shaver); and her siblings, Arthur F. Warner III, Barbara A. Roberts (Warner), John A. Warner, James J. Warner and Robert A. Warner. She is also survived by Her extended family includes many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
