Terry Devern Norton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 70, Terry Devern Norton of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Norton and Rosa Lewis Norton; and his sister Sue Lynn Norton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Norton; his children, Thomas Pollard, Leslie Pollard and Shelia Barber (Kenny); his sister Dorothy Norton Pope; his grandchildren, Savannah Barber Norris (Jordan), Madison Pollard, Kenneth Riley Barber (Riley), Jackson Ryan Barber (Kinsey) and Khloe Pollard; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Norris and Stevie Barber.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Thursday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Friday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Onslow Memorial Park (3280 Richlands Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
