He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Swindell and Clara Belle Williams; and his brothers, Paul Williams, George Williams and Melvin Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Williams; and his children, Thomas Franklin Williams, Jr. (Amy), Joseph W. Williams (Lucinda), Alysa S. Darling (Leroy) and Scott D. Spear (Hillary). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
