With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom John Kurtzweil of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kurtzweil and Mildred Kurtzweil; and his siblings, Charles Kurtzweil, George Robert Kurtzweil and Mary Ellen Kurtzweil.

He is survived by: his wife Candelaria Kurtzweil; his children, Jospeh David Kurtzweil, Dante Peter Kurtzweil, Thomas Noel Kurtzweil, John Paul Kurtzweil and Maria Teresa Kurtzweil; and his siblings, Michael Shawn Kurtzweil, Sandra Lee Salzman and Denise Marie Kurtzweil. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
