It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian O. Hill of Jacksonville, North Carolina, born in Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on June 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Owensby and Pauline Owensby Leachman; her husband John Luther Hill; and her sister Eva Brewer. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Hill Pearson (Tom Pearson); her grandsons, Bryan Thomas Pearson (Leslie) and John Michael Pearson (Megan) of Wilmington; and her half-siblings, Lynn L. Wilshire of Loganville and Billy Leachman of Commerce Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be given to the Lower Cape Fear In-Patient Hospice Center of Wilmington NC or Brookwood Baptist Church of Jacksonville NC.
