He is survived by: his children, William Chadwick, Jr. of Jacksonville and Patricia Lavery (Mike); his siblings, James Chadwick (Jean) of Jacksonville and Mona Lightfoot; his siblings-in-law, John Smith (Natela) of New Bern, A. T. and Dee Congleton of New Bern; and his nieces and nephews, Genny Wrenn (Jimmy) of Chapel Hill, Lisa Floyd (Tim) of Raleigh, Shannon Taylor (Steve) of Concord, Theresa Linsey (Dwayne), James Chadwick, Jr. (Michelle) of Jacksonville, Robert Chadwick (Cheri) of Sneads Ferry, Johnny Lightfoot (Elenita), George Lightfoot (Gloria) and Ronnie Lightfoot (Maria).
