With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Douglas Barber of Jacksonville, North Carolina, born in Pine Level, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Francene Barber; his brother Joseph Marion Barber; and his parents, William Joseph and Gladys Mae Radford Barber. He is survived by: his son Kevin Lee Barber of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, Ronald Wayne Barber of Swansboro, Esther Mae Kinsey (Jackie) of Jacksonville, Bryan Keith (Mary Ann Barber) of Emerald Isle and Kenneth Ryan (Sheila Barber) of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Laine and Reese Barber.
