He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Hamm (Faye); his mother Ruby Zoa Wright Hamm; his stepfather Cleo Wright; his daughters, Tamara Burnette and Patrica Hamm; and his siblings, Dale Hamm, Jerry Wright and Mary Lou Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Bell (David) of Hubert, Shelia Longo (Paul) of Chocowinity and Sharon Burns (Richard) of Swansboro; his grandchildren, Paul Jason, Jeremy, Kyle, Ryan, Tanisha, Kalee, Ashley, Josh, Courtney and Mallory; his siblings, Ronnie Wright, Kenny Wright, Betty Mabrey of Commerce and Janice Margrabe of Commerce; his close friend Glen Simpson (Little Buddy); and his nephew Donnie Dail (Valerie).
